Yes, I fiddled with the basics a bit. Some hours of work in Photoshops CS and CS3, Wacom Intuos3. Motion lines done with Manga Studio's Focus Lines filter. Characters property of Marvel Characters Inc. In my mind's eye, the Hulk is screaming "Surprise!" in scratchy type, while Spidey's thinking to himself in horror, "Buttsecks?!?" *EDIT* Removed the motion lines at balooga's suggestion and it actually works. In earlier versions the lighting on the buildings was much too bright orange, so I thought up the lines to push them back. With the white over the orange now, it doesn't need the lines so much any more. *MORE EDIT* Had another pass at the rendering on Hulk and softened up the background thanks to advice from the incomparable *EraserX. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
