Some of you may notice the name beneath my nickname, "Eagle." It's my real name, on my birth certicifate and everything. It's a Native American name, though I am not Native.
Long story short, I didn't give it to myself and neither did my parents. I was -born- with it.
I have hardly ever told anyone -why- it's my name. It's a story I hold close to my heart. It speaks to my spiritual beliefs, which can't now be called by any name. Not Native, not Christian, not Bhuddist, not anything I have seen a name for. I am spiritual, but I don't use it as an excuse to do or be anything. I just do what I feel is right and live largely guilt-free, unburdened by what others want me to be.
I have been with a woman for getting on ten years now. She was raised all over Asia as her father was a Christian missionary for most of her childhood. She had many unconventional experiences there, some of which her father corroborated for me before he passed away. I have no reason to doubt her veracity.
One such encounter involved a creature called a "Penanggalan": [link]
I have found no names for her other experiences.
So when a story like this comes up [Burglar: I was held captive by ghost for 3 days [link] I think there's a pretty good chance it's true.
Have you had any unconventional encounters?
